O'Reilly: Biden was a 'zombie'

Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly blasted former President Biden, calling him a "zombie" while in office in the wake of revelations about his mental decline during the final few months of his presidency.

“He didn’t make the policies,” O’Reilly said Tuesday evening during an appearance on NewsNation's CUOMO. “He didn’t make them. That’s where you’re making your mistake. He was a zombie.”

Host Chris Cuomo said he disagreed with the pundit, adding that Biden had "good days, and a lot of bad days."

"But Biden was not running the government," O'Reilly contended, later noting the former president "couldn't do the job."

A number of books have been published in recent weeks detailing the extent to which top aides to Biden were kept in the dark about his mental condition and feared for his health in a potential second term.

O'Reilly's comments come just days after the Department of Justice released the tapes from Biden's 2023 interview with special counsel Robert Hur, which he appeared to struggle through. They also follow the former president's recent prostate cancer diagnosis.

Trump — who in recent weeks has doubled down on criticism of his predecessor's use of an autopen — and his allies have argued the revelations about Biden are evidence of a cover up by the media and Democrats about the former president's fitness for the job.
